A B O U T L E O R A
My name is Leora Winter, and I am an artist located in the Canadian maritimes. I write about living with a disability, my holistic mental health recovery, and why hope isn’t lost even when it sometimes feels like it.
I enjoy writing and drawing on paper, making patterns and crafts out of paper, and words and illustrations on paper in books--especially comic books--created by other people.
We might be kindred spirits if you have a love for a love of tea parties, fireside reading (sometimes aloud in a dramatic voice to an audience), forest trails to small cottages, the circus (with animals who are treated kindly), poodles and kittens, the sound of church bells, handmade cotton dresses, fresh baking, and rosy winter cheeks!
