Judy Bruce and the Sonoran Arts League: Honoring Youth Artistry

The Sonoran Arts League's 29th Annual Celebration of Art & 45th Jeff Cross Memorial will take place on May 12 at Cactus Shadows High School Fine Arts Center in Scottsdale.

The event will feature over 100 talented students from grades 3-12 showcasing their outstanding achievements in visual arts.

Students will be recognized by their teachers on stage and receive a gift bag of art supplies provided by the Sonoran Arts League.

The event is a testament to the Sonoran Arts League's commitment to nurturing the creative talents of young artists in our community.

Ceramic artist Robin Ray, Sonoran Arts League Youth Art Chair, has been instrumental in organizing this celebration for many years.

Mixed media painter Judy Bruce has helped coordinate the event for 20 years and believes art is essential to human connection.

The event is free to the public and will take place from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at Cactus Shadows High School Fine Arts Center.

The Sonoran Arts League has empowered more than 4,000 students to pursue their passion for art through its various programs and initiatives.

The event will also feature a special recognition of the Jeff Cross Memorial, a prestigious award that recognizes outstanding achievement in visual arts.
