Saturday Funday in Downtown Sedalia

Saturday Funday is coming to downtown Sedalia on Saturday with two major events planned: Mayfair at the Hayden Liberty Center and the 100-year anniversary celebration at the Pettis County Courthouse.

Mayfair at the Hayden Liberty Center is an annual event celebrating art, music, and life, featuring local and area artists and a Kid's Zone with street performers and a bounce house.

The event begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m., with an art fair in the street showcasing ceramics, painting, sculpture, photos, and more.

The Kid's Zone is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring street performers, chalk drawings, and a bounce house to keep kids busy.

Music performances include Harper Triplett with Luke Rehmer at 10 a.m., The Groove Pilots at noon, and Trevon Dawson at 2 p.m.

In the evening, Soul Root will perform at 5 p.m. with tickets available for $10 at the gate.

The Pettis County Courthouse is celebrating its 100-year anniversary, with events taking place at 415 South Ohio from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The courthouse anniversary celebration includes courthouse tours, family activities, food trucks, a ceremony, and a county-wide band and choir performance.

The event also features a patriotic fireworks show at 9:00 p.m.
