Arts, Culture, and Creativity Month (ACCM) is a celebration of the importance of arts, culture, and creativity in our lives. It is a time to recognize the impact that these elements have on our communities, our well-being, and our society as a whole.

    The Escondido Public Art Commission plays a vital role in promoting and supporting arts, culture, and creativity in Escondido.

    The Escondido Arts Association will host a Spring Fling Art Festival, April 17 – May 2.

    The event is free and open to the public. Escondido Arts Partnership will host two events: Local Color and Ripple Effects, and an opening day event in Heritage Garden on April 1. Glass House Arts and California Center for the Arts will also be participating in the events by displaying a temporary sculpture installation. This event is free and open to the public, providing an opportunity for residents and visitors alike to engage with the arts in a unique and accessible way. The first event, Local Color, will showcase the works of local artists, highlighting the diverse range of artistic styles and mediums present in the community. This event aims to promote the local art scene, encouraging artists to share their talents and connect with their audience. By featuring a variety of local artists, Local Color will provide a platform for artists to gain exposure, build their networks, and inspire others with their creativity. The second event, Ripple Effects, will focus on the intersection of art and community, exploring how art can have a positive impact on people’s lives and the environment. This event will feature interactive installations, performances, and discussions that will engage attendees and encourage them to think critically about the role of art in shaping our world. By bringing together artists, community members, and experts in the field, Ripple Effects will foster a sense of community and promote a deeper understanding of the impact of art on society. The opening day event in Heritage Garden on April 1 will provide an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the arts.
