Library announces new CFAC director RS library manager

The Rock Springs Library and Community Fine Arts Center have recently welcomed new leadership, with Konstanz Potts and Amanda Romero taking the reins as the new Library Manager and Community Fine Arts Center Manager, respectively.Konstanz Potts – New Library Manager

As the new Library Manager, Konstanz Potts brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. Prior to her appointment, Potts served as a youth-focused Public Services Librarian, where she developed a deep understanding of the needs and interests of young readers. Her promotion to Public Services Manager in 2022 marked a significant milestone in her career, demonstrating her ability to take on increasingly complex responsibilities. Potts’ experience has equipped her with a unique perspective on the importance of community engagement and outreach. As a Public Services Manager, she worked closely with local organizations and community groups to develop and implement programs that promoted literacy, education, and social inclusion.

Library Operations

As the new Library Manager, Potts will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the Rock Springs Library. This includes managing the daily activities of the library, including circulation, programming, and maintenance.

She also expressed her enthusiasm for the new role, stating that she is looking forward to working with the community and the CFAC team to achieve their goals. She has been working at the CFAC for several years, and her experience has given her a deep understanding of the center’s mission and values. Romero has been involved in various projects and initiatives, including the development of the CFAC’s youth programs, which have been instrumental in providing art enrichments for local youth. Her experience has also given her the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively manage the CFAC’s daily operations. As CFAC Manager, Romero will be responsible for overseeing the center’s daily operations, including managing staff, coordinating events, and ensuring that the center’s facilities are well-maintained.
